Just saying hello - from the Deepish South.

The weather is getting better here and the ice is off the roads so the bike is getting dusted off again.

I ride a Suzuki GS1200ss after selling my GSX1100R to buy a house.

Started riding again, about 4 years ago, after a 20 year break. Enjoying it very muchly but finding the knees don't work as well as they used to when I was 20 something years younger. :Punk:

A warm welcome from up north. I had a 10-15 year layoff when the kids were little so you're in good company. I found out that my knees weren't in great shape either when I switched from the BMW to the Blackbird but a few exercises and regular dollops of glucosamine as Kiwifruit correctly points out has made quite a bit of diffference.

Enjoy the site!

Hi Lil_byte

Kinda said Hi in your other thread, but this is the more formal "greetings, and I hope you enjoy your time here..."

There are just too many IT sorts in here. I am part of a team of four and have been developing a distributed db in Access :dodge: (pushing limits with 120k loc 200ish tables etc) but have started the process of redeveloping it in .NET. Anyhow, welcome along.

Have never been to a rally yet and want to find a nice one to break me in gently (maybe the pissed penguin, will have to look at the dates) - have just ridden on my own for fun.

Looking forward to getting together in a group.:scooter:
