Hi guys

I'm looking 'round for new shoes for the Beemer and have a question:

The standard size for the front is 120/70 17. I can get a good 125/70 17 for a great price. Is there likely to be any problems fitting this slightly wider tyre? It is after all only 5mm wider than standard.

Appreciate opinions on this.

not sure on the front really but have gone from a 180 to a 190 on the rear with no problems at all, turn in wont be quite as good with the wider tyre although i guess that depends on profile.

no such size you probably mean a 120/65-17 these have the same rolling rate as the standard tyre but offer quicker turn in not advisable on a telelever front ent due to the lack of travel in the front suspension the tyre needs to be a 70 profile to take the flex ion the sidewalls whilke under braking

Stick with the 70 series. The 65 will make it twitchy.

Thanks guys

Decided to dig into the pockets a little harder and just go with a set of standard size Avon Azarro's.
