Wahooooo!!!

Today is the last day of winter which i think calls for a little celebration.

I also think it's an oppotunity for some of us to bury the hatchet/forgive or apologise with fellow KBer's we may have pissed off. And so I'd like to kick this off with saying sorry to
Aria for warming my pizza with her arse.
Mstrs for eating all his food.
That young twat in auckland (mark something) for laughing at his leathers and sneakers combination.

Well spotted.
I intend to celebrate with 2 lettuce leaves and some warm cardboard and do a lame (but getting better) free ride around the grandstand ramps on my mountainbike for 45.
105kg by the summer. 10kg in 3 months - do it easy.

How about 10k by daylight saving. I'm on if you are, but I want a weigh in at the start and the end. We'll need big scales.

James Deuce

10kg in 4 weeks is too much too fast if you want it to stay off. Permanent weight loss should be about 1kg a month at the most, otherwise your body goes into a famine state and sheds muscle mass ahead of stored fat.

Having said that, a great deal of excess weight is just fluid because most people don't drink enough water.

I'm 97.5kg at the moment.

Fatjim

I need more pressure than 3 months. I'd probably put weight on.

How about the 15th of October.

limbimtimwim

Make it the 3rd. That's my birthday.

If you loose all that tonnage, I'll give you a nice book.

:p

Hey, I go to the gym usually twice a day 5 day's a week.... Though for what and how much I eat I need to, or I would be obese! But smaller Jims right Fatjim, do it slowly or you'll just put it back on. I lost about 20 kilos just over 2 years ago and have so far managed to keep it of. And thats with excercise alone cause I love my food!

skelstar

You should be their personal trainers Hels.

You'd be a Jim Slimmer?

Maybe a Jim Bunny?

Fatjim
5th September 2006, 09:20
oh yeah SJ.

Now I figure if I lose 10k I'll fit my Quasi leather's. Once I'm in them, I won't be able to get out of them, and I wont be able to put any weight back on. Kind of a weightjacket, rather than a straitjacket.

To be honest in some ways you're probably better of measuring yourself (waist, arms etc) then weighing yourself, especially if your excercising as muscle weighs heavier. For my height my weight puts me in the "overweight" catergory, but my body fat is only 18%. If ya get what im trying to say....

James Deuce

Very few people appreciate the difference between metabolic function and muscle mass, and losing weight.

Mate, its not an easy road but stick with it and you'll get there! I was down to around 11% just over a year ago but then I gave up kickboxing and started riding so I wasnt walking everywhere.... Get out and walk instead of taking the cage or bike if you can. Or just get out and go for a walk everyday, even half an hour would help. Good luck! :D
