Just a quick (aka stupid) question here..... Is it possible to pop off the pillion seat on a GSXR 750J (1989)? There is a key hole on the left pillion peg arm that release the driver seat, but it appears the pillion seat is bolted on? Am i missing a release leaver somewhere or is it bolted on? :dodge:

The lever would be under the rider seat, probably toward the rear.

I'm guessing though.

The pillion seat is bolted on, it's only those 2 bolts though. You can get a pod for it, used to have a J with rear seat and pod.

Thankyou. Na thats cool, just wanted to confirm that there was no easy underseat storage. Time for a tank bag... I will keep an eye out for a pod as well though
