Yes, finally got my 14" apes on the bike. We took it to Taupo this weekend and was great. Handled like a dream.

I'd like to get some enjin gards, a decent light rack and saddlbags before I think of upgrading the bars, oh and a different paint job too, oh and V&H pipes too!!!

Your bike looks pretty cool. I don't know about the engin gards, but the rest sounds good. Better be fast on the V & H pipes before they stop bringing them into the country.

They're actually an anti-theft item to deter dwarfs from nicking the bike..

Strange how the shorter the rider is the wider or higher the bars get

The bars are the cheap bit ( $200 ) the costly part is cables, brake lines, electrics and fitting was all up around $1150 plus the bars.

i got mine covered by insurance when my bike got knocked down in a carpark. got new bars, cables and risers

All the cable lengths varied and threre was a bit of work in rigging up the throttle cables for the standard cruise control. ( Didn't wanna stuff it up.)
