Bit of a shock hearing of his death, kinda thought he'd die by the croc if anything. We visited Australia Zoo Christmas 2004 and he and his wife were there that day and took the tiger/croc show. Glad we got to see it, he was certainly a character.

its a pretty old series, done around the same time as Thunderbirds back in the 80's. Was never really as popular as Thunderbirds though.

I don't think the jokes are offensive and he would probably think they were funny too!
RIP Crockman, just stiff cheese about the stingray thing.
He did well with his time, most people know who he was and what he stood for, it's not compulsory to like him but you have to respect him for achievement!
:first: prise for :bs: but it was his own "brand". John.

Agree - but on reading more about him, his work in conservation should continue too.

Yep, they were in the shops for sale from 1960 that I remember.
I went to sea with Merchant company and used to bring back battery powered portables, a real hit with the lassies in Auckland!
Used to sit up in the dark watching the static till the TV went off at about eleven or twelve and there you were in the dark with "nothing" to do! He he.
They (the little TV's) were so cheap for me to buy and soooooo expensive in NZ, I could afford to leave them in the lassies permanent care forever.
(inducements etc helped decide who had them)
For a while I had mini TV's all over Auckland, then they got cheaper and cheaper and I was out of business.
Progress huh! Back to the thread. :innocent: John.

There'll be appearances by Ray Charlies and Stevie Ray Vaughn, the Eagles may show up too. Irwin was a great fan.

Steve gets up to the Pearly Gates and God says to him "Sorry Steve. You weren't actually supposed to be here so soon. Unfortunately I can't send you back. However I'll let you bring one thing with you."
Steve thinks long and hard, and then whispers his request in God's ear.
"Here you go", God says to Steve.
"Crickey Mate, you must be going deaf" Steve exclaims to God. " I said Crock, not Brock."
