I thought I would advertise myself of the forum for a job position in Sales or marketing.

I am currently working of AA insurance as a Campaign Consultant which is purely a sales and marketing job, working closely with the marketing Executives, and current company campaigns (hence the title campaign consultant). In March this year a target was set to get 60 sales per month which most people though would be unachievable, (which for everyone else it has been), however I am the only one in the team to meet this target and have done it twice. My stats are unparallel with the entire team with some days getting more sales than all the consultants put together. There has not been any great pay rise in the position and not promotion since I have been there for the last 1.5 years, and i believe they are completely under utilizing my skills. I did once get the chance to change the underwriting guidelines for the motorcycle and classic car guidelines, as the underwriters were not very clued up when it came to motorcycles.

Before AA insurance I spent another 1.5 years at a property investment company and was in charge of a small marketing surveying team, I also talked with clients about investing and convincing them of the positives leading to book times for in-home consultants, which I also held record numbers in this position (I left there because the boss was power crazy and I think needed up getting fined due to employee abuse of another employee a couple of weeks after I left). I have also spent a little bit of time in car sales working for Ford & Mazda.

I am highly ambitious running my company in my personal time called DS Racing, importing and selling aftermarket parts for cult bikes such as 2 stroke 250's and sport 400's. Website is www.dsracing.co.nz.

If you think im a perfect candidate PM me or give me and email Daniel@dsracing.co.nz

Yes AA does underpay and under appreciate you. I can't say anything else for fear (of my wife) of incriminating anyone....

You'd be better off moaning to your boss about it, or maybe flogging your CV off to the opposition. How's your business going anyway? I enquired about buying a NSR150 pipe for my MB100 bucket, I emailed you direct to order the pipe and never heard from you. Ended up buying the pipe direct from Tyga in Thailand, oh well.....:bye:

My boss is an idiot well my team leader is, she got put in the position of teamleader about 9 months ago cause our orginal one left and she was the only person in the team that had been there the longest. i dont think she likes me or is jelouse of me cause im 7 years youner than her and in reality (as i run my own business) am more successful than her. Im 22 and when she was that age she was working for a supermarket and then 24 went to vodafones customer service center unill she was 26. been at AA for 3 years and was in my position when i started. oh and she still lives at home.

and about the pipe, Im sure at the time i was looking around for another exhaust for a 100cc, as a 150 exhaust for a 2 stroke 100c wouldnt work very well, (expansion chambers are designed for the specific CC rating). i dont think i found any though. except for those crappy 110cc scooters and pit bikes, which i recon still would of been better than the nsr pipe.
