Hi. Have read about the learner rides in auckland and wellington and just wondering if there are any done around the tauranga area. I have been riding about 2 weeks now and am keen to go out for rides on the weekends but only know a couple of other people who ride that are both learners.

Don't have any. And it's still bike related unlike ice skates.
If you guys really want to learn how to ride just PM Cajun or the flamming gorrilla as said or you could just start comming on more rides.
Cajun's trying to get one going on sunday, give that a go.

You have to follow the group all the time?
Leve the ride early nd practise wht you learn on the way home. If you're worried about getting lost, bring a map or just use one at a gas station.

Hey guys I recommend DMNTD as a mentor. I have a lot of respect for the flaming Gorilla. He is a mate and almost part of the family. He has a lot of skills that he can teach you. Learn from him.
As for Waylander. Give up hassling people. Let people ride at their own pace.
We all know you are slow. I am slow but not that slow
I will be riding at my own pace from now on. No body will make me go out of my comfort zone
I want to live.
