Man that looks extreme. I would have said that was some pass in the Himalayas somewhere.

Looks similar to Skippers Canyon Road in Queenstown. Thats a pretty cool road!.

Old photo's of the Manawatu Gorge.....late 60's early 70's at a guess....:mellow:

I know it aint, but that gorge use to be a shit load worse than it is today...:done:

That's what I thought when I saw it! I remember it being a goat track but those vehicles look a bit modern for it to be true!

It looks like some of the roads that I grew up riding/driving on. When there was slips the cars piled up for hours/days. What the buses use to do was the bus would go to one side of the slip and people walk across the slip and another bus would pick them up there.
