At least I own a real bike. Its a k5 600 with 11,300km's on the clock. Full yoshi system and ohlins steering dampener. I went around and picked it up last night in hope of taking it around puke today but it wasnt to be. Its mint to ride, even though I only rode it for about 20mins I love it, its fast and well just really nice to ride, it took me 5 minutes to get used to the seat height as I felt about 10feet off the ground, and the weight on my hands was insane. other than that theres not a lot I can say.. Oh yeah I brought and ohlins rear shock and front fork internals for it last night and im sending my forks away on monday to get the shiz installed.

Brilliant, that bike should be a weapon once you've finished all the mods, and with a fast learner like yourself, I'm sure you'll be competitive at the highest echelons of bike racing within the next year or so as long as you keep focussed on chasing the dream.

I'm not thinking of all the races too far ahead, I'm still struggling to get my head above ground after my latest purchase. (Uni is now officially on hold).

I still haven't even looked at how to adjust the suspension on my CBR600 race bike that I recently got hold of, but I'm going to need to get round to it soon, cause I've entered F2 for the next two rounds of the VMCC champs.

Looking forward to having you out there again.

As I said elsewhere Tex, you've come a long way in a short time, all the best with the new weapon, there's alot of $$$ at stake so keep the rubber side down on them road rides you're planning and save the real fast stuff for the track! :niceone:

I actually think all the riding on scooters was really benifical to me, although I think I should have made the upgrade sooner.

Just claim you went off the road.

Too risky with people taking pics and stuff like that, far to easy for it to get back to the insurance company.

:)

You gotta throw the bike in the back of a large standard, common van, head up towards Coro around midnight, slide it out of the back and roll her down a bank, make sure you are wearing thermals, get your mate to bugger off in the van. Wait till morning lying next to yur bike in all your gear with your legs up in the air and wait for some local to discover you.

That's gotta be pretty convincing eh?? Umm errr, sorry mate, was out for an early morning ride and got sun strike. Or bugger that possum.
