well thats a real shit man, sorry to here that as you look after your bike. I hope those coloured strip lighting things in your fairings are salvagable, see K14 I think that he liked the look of em
I hope you get better soon as.

:mega: On another note, I hope that you learn something out of this you DO NOT ride at 100kph in a 50kph zone you are bloody lucky not to be dead :nono:

20th June 2004, 20:12
What happened? Was it in a 50k area? You are pretty lucky to be alive after crashing at 100kph on a public road. What road did it happen on?

P.S. Don't worry about the neons, I know dangerous wants some for his storm, just to rice it up a little more.

Not good buddy.

Sorry to hear about your off. Cage drivers just don't see us sometimes and that's just a sad fact.

The broken bones will heal. The ligaments are a bugger. I've bust bones and snapped ligaments and I tell you the ligaments hurt much worse.

Hope you are back up and riding before too long. Best of luck.

Just as well the human body can effect better self repair than bikes do. By the look of the bike, unlucky but VERY lucky chappy!!
Keep the simle on yer dial and back into it soon. And no more

Get well Cheetor. I was tempted to say you were a bloody idiot blah blah and lucky to survive the lesson. But, umm I recall me at 18, speeding down Tuam St +car does U turn= broken leg & wrecked bike. Your recovery will seem to drag on for months. That'll be because it will be months (trying to cheer you up see). But one day you will be sitting at a PC, or whatever replaces PCs in the future, reading about some bloke repeating the same old lesson. The point is, like many of us you will live and get the chance to make the same mistakes again. You're alive, well done.

Unbelievable, thank God you're still here to tell the tale, this goes to reinforce the thought that cage drivers are out to kill us!, all he gets is a ticket!, that sucks!, he should have to replace your bike and pay for your travel costs until you're able to ride again, at least he's educated now I spose. Take care and get better soon :apint:

I am tempted to say so too... still not having come off at 100, let alone come off at all leaves me a little unsure how bad recovery really is for you. Hope you learned something from it and walk away a better rider in future.
