That is a HUGE jump from a 250. Be real respectful of your new ride until you get used to the weight and power. Nice bikes tho (I would say that, wouldn't I?). May be able to ride some of the way back with you....

yeah I know but I couldn't be botherd with a 600 or 750 cause I knew i'd always get a 1000/1100 later. I am gonna respect it till I get use to it cause i've been told it will throw me off otherwise
I noticed your in Napier. do you know where the fountain on the beach is? I'm meeting my mate there at 2pm on saturday. all I know is to keep going along the beach till I find it. Aparently the beach is on the way
Am leaving mobil paramata at 9.30am sharp. going up through levin way & coming back through masterton so can take new bike on the takas before the next ride on the 1st of october

MSTRS here on herindoors sign in...
You obviously don't know Napier very well - turn off the main road at Pakipaki - just past the lime works, then follow the Napier signs, veer left before the overbridge , then a right on to Kennedy Rd and follow your nose into the CBD. Stay on the main through road, eventually you come to the sea, hang left at the roundabout and Voila! The fountain is just on your right.
My Gixxer is 1989 Jap model - it has the upside down forks etc

Good to see you got back in one piece. Your bloody lucky it only broke where it did as well and not in the middle of nowhere.
Now get your arse into gear and get the thing fixed so I can have a look next weekend.
