MTs bike has the unfair advantage of using a special lubricant during the combustion stroke....
All of the reliability of a 4 stroke, but burns more oil than a 2!

Interesting, but remember that's 1.6sec per lap, so over 25 laps...? 1.6 sec per lap is quite a lot in racing. F1 teams spend millions to gain .2-.3 sec per lap! Makes the difference between winning and coming second, or third.

True - thats why I sold it - a litre per Coro loop was getting a bit expensive........

The old girls getting the piston rings done at the moment. There's not a single mark on anything except the cam chain tensioner, and we're only replacing that just in case. So it's valve seals, piston rings, cam chain tensioner & gaskets and she'll be good as new (almost).

It's great working in a bike shop.
