Some might have noticed a new link in the stats box on the homepage. This is an auto updating page to display new posts/threads as they happen. It uses AJAX so it does not refresh the page to do what it does.

At the moment it is only accessible by senior members until I can see the effect on server load.

AJAX is still Beta is it not. Did it take much work to integrate into the existing code structure? Is anything extra required to be installed on the server?

Dam this new update is hard to find the good old stuff on. Have to go advance now ta post in My standard Font Comic Sans MS, and the font colour link sometimes shows little coloured squares and then another time it shows lines with the colour an order that only a PC would think as being logical, LOL.
