I am going to upgrade bikes in a very short period of time, and i was wondering if anyone out there knows some good reviews carried out on the following:(yes I HAVE googled them)

2004 GSXR 600 K4
2004 Kawa 636

I am pretty much settled on one of these bikes, however I have not ridden either one so am relying on other reviews to help me make my decision. I will test ride both bikes when i find one that I want, but this will help round off the edges of knoweldge.

Cheers guys,

Brett

pm your email address, i will send you some.

i have a few in pdf format

But really what it comes down to, is which of these two bikes gives you the biggest boner. and go with that one.

Since really these bikes are so close in all areas, 99% of us can not really push them to there limits, so what some clown in a bike mag says makes no difference to real world

Get a Daytona...
I did and I cant even ride!

Your going to have to ride them both befor you can make a choice.
I like the 636, but I'm not buying it...

All the reviews on all the bikes. As many as you can shake a stick at, current and old.

Go check out the dealers and see who's friendliest, ask about, see who has the best service. I'd like a CBR600RR, but I'd sooner cut my dick off than deal with Casbolts Honda here in Christchurch.

Gix is friendlier, better out of the box.

636 is horn, but suspension needs work.

Like you said, ride 'em.

haven't ridding the 363 (sic) but I like the look of them, however they do review as a more track focused bike.

The K4 GSXR is a great bike, but then I'm biased - seriously though, I went from bandit 600 to Sv650S to GSXR600 and the gixxer kicks ass and puts on big grins every day.

The winner of best sports 600 two years running, its a do anything true sportsbike - not singularly focused like the new R6 for instance.

You can ride it hard as you want or potter about town, tour, commute, track day, w/end ride - you name it.

Was going to sell mine recently, but decided I didn't like the new 600/750 enough to change....

All that said you can't go wrong with a trumpet.....if you can stretch to it, look at the triumph 675 - that is an awesome bike, a real motorcycling milestone - a modern classic in the making....I'm very tempted, I have to say......so if you fancy a very clean GSXR600K4 - then sing out, I've just put on a titanium tri-oval yoshi muffler and it sounds Sweeeeeeeeeeeeet.
