After bumping into a chap in Nelson yesterday, who lived 2 doors up the road from me, when I lived in Auckland, I thought I would ask yall what the names of the roads/streets were that you have lived on, and maybe a short spiel about whether it was good or bad etc, or a something that happened while living there.
In chronological order....
Bridge Street - Temuka
The Terrace - Herald Island Auckland
Pururi Road - Whenuapai Auckland
Glendene Ave - Glendene Auckland (lived here the longest)
Glendene Ave - Glendene Auckland (literally moved across the street)

Rangitiki Cres - Lynfield Auckland (boardrd with friends Mum)
Orcades Pl - Lynfield Auckland (married - YAY)
Seaview Tce - Mt Albert Auckland (awesome place, but again, was sold)
Blockhouse Bay Road - Blockhouse bay Auckland (The guy in the flat below us used to beat his girlfriend every few nights, I eventually hospitalised him, after my wife came close to a breakdown because of the stress, we took his girlfriend with us, to our next house, until she could find a place of her own)
Rogan St - Hillsborough Auckland - spent 5 years here, great little street.
Lynwood St - Kelston/Newlynn Auckland (awesome place, it was bloody huge, we were living there when the 9/11 event happened)
Mercury Lane - CBD Auckland (off K-Road, working girls on the street below our second story windows. BIG shout out to the guy in the Hometune Van, who used to pick a girl up 2 nights a week- you fucking idiot !!!)

Gribble Grove, Snakes Gully. Commonly referred to as Dribble Drive
Sunny Grove, Wainui-o-tomato. Not very sunny at all stuck in a ravine.
Sheehy Grove, Wainui. Commonly referred to as Tranny Road
The above are family homes, as a hard-working working teenager (is there such a thing?), I lived in a variety of 'situations' and don't actually remember any of their names cos I was always pissed.

Christ.. my life story in an nutshell lol:
Matai St, Waikanae - Grandparents house, first few months after I was born
Tui Cres, Waikanae - Mum rented this until I was about 2ish
Andrew St, Waikanae - My Mum brought this place after saving for 2 years on the DPB for the deposit, an achievement that still blows my mind.
Featherstone St, Palmerston North (Between Russell St & Durham Cres)- We moved to palmy when I was about 6 for mum to finish her studies at Massey, lived in a pokey lil unit. Was a butchers (vertoengens?) that used to give me free savoloys sometimes.
Featherstone St, Palmerston North (near the dairy on the corner of North st, kinda opposite the old brewery)- Landlord of the last place was a cvnt so we moved down the rd and flatted with a bunch of her student friends.
Ruahine St, Palmerston North (2 story house on the corner of Terrace St, opposite the hospital)- Mum sold the Waikanae House and brought this place.
Main Rd, Rangiwahia - My mum had gotten married, and her and my step-dad decided they wanted to do the whole lifestyle farm thing so we moved to the arse end of nowhere.
Thurston Place, Bucklands Beach, Dorkland - Got exiled to dorkland for a year. Spent alot of weekends at my grandmas on Waiheke.
Liverpool St, Wanganui - Boarded at Wanganui Collegiate for a term till I got kicked out for beating up rich kids. Great education, pity about the snobby rich cunts.
Ruahine St, Palmerston North - My parents abandoned the farming idea after 2 years and 30k down the tubes.
Mitchell St, Brooklyn, Wellington - My parents brought a section and had a house built to order.
High St, Taita, Lower Hutt (few minutes walk north of the shops) - Couldnt live with parents anymore nor they with me so moved into a friends house.
Pilmuir St, Epuni, Lower Hutt - Moved into the old nurses housing.
Malvern Rd, Ngauranga Gorge, Wellington - Moved into a flat above my work. Building got demolished a few months back and good riddance.. Twas a shithole.
Mitchell St, Brooklyn, Wellington - Lost job, lost flat, moved home.
Maclean St, Wallaceville, Upper Hutt (bout 2 houses from the train station) - White trash styles living in an ex state house, ex tinny house. Always answered the door with a machete near my hand.
Mandalay Terrace, Khandallah, Wellington - White trash style in a flash part of town. Neighbours were all shit scared of us, stereo was always blaring, parties happening, hell even had one stupid cow OD on my front lawn with ambos and all.
Mitchell St, Brooklyn, Wellington - Moved home for a few weeks before I moved to Hamilton
Edgecumbe St, Hamilton - 2 Bedroom unit with the slapper I moved to Hamilton for.. Broke up a month after I moved.. DOH! *mutter* cuntstruck *mutter*
Richmond St, Hamilton - Couldnt afford unit on my own, moved in with some crazy albino brothers, a slapper and her boyfriend.
Pembroke St, Hamilton - Last flat broke up, moved in with a mate and his rave-aholic flatmates. Was never home, perfect flatmate really, always at the missus place.
Slim St, Melville, Hamilton - Finally moved in with the missus, in preperation for moving into a house together.
Campbell St, Dinsdale, Hamilton - Been here ever since.

Sorry I was refering to Magua's post (notice how he's stayed west of the motorway, unlike you who's been in great places like Browns Bay!!!! Yay! go browns bay)
I myself am a bit of a Shore boy myself.... I miss that place unlike anything else.... (see my first post on this thread...) I on the other hand managed to stay on the eastern side of the motorway most of my life in the shore (except for that time in pupuke road in northcote but that was only for like 3 months)
