Hey im Laf Laf aka tony, kiwifruits aprentice. Thought id put my virginal post out there seeing kiwifruit held me within mm of his chain unless i joined. Im real into bikes and even more keen to chat to people that know a whole lot more than me. I just recently devorced my first bike (rg150, Cant say enough about the thing, mint bike) and am looking to purchasing something bigger, faster and a whole lot angrier ( ive got the bike bug, hook, line and sinker). Would love to hear any comments on any recommendations on future bikes or any help you can throw my way.

Apparently SV1000 isn't too much more expensive and the power delivery is smoother - that's what I was told anyway - once I get my full licence I'll test drive 'em and see what I think - I like the characteristics of V-Twin having tried 4 cyl, single cyl, parallel twin and V-Twin 250's. So I was thinking SV650, Hyosung GT650R, Cagiva Raptor 650....but now I'm thinking SV1000S, TL1000, VTR1000, Cagiva Raptor 1000 - hmmmm.
Have fun choosing....oh and er welcome. some of us don't know much about bikes but can bullshit with the best of 'em!

Hi Tony, I think we may have met on a wet ride through the Coromandel about a month ago. Welcome to KB anyway. I went from 250cc to the SV and Its gone really well for me. They're a good compromise between cost to run, power and reliability (mines done 90,000km with no problems). Ask away if you've got any specific questions.
Might see ya around sometime.

Cheers for the recommendations, theres no need to be silly and buy a honda though. You'd opt for riding a suzuki wouldn't you.
