Christmas In Nelson, Bay Of Islands

I am riding from Dunedin to Nelson, to spend Christmas up there, learn how to kayak in Abel Tasmin then New Years Eve in Nelson and go for some fab day rides yet to be thought of.... and general chill, and knock back a few cold bottles of the amber nectre, camp out and have a totally fab time, fancy it, let me know. Hope you are planning on being in nelson for the street racing on the 2nd jan 07... we will be there with the chch bucketeers ;)
Boxing day will be in wanganui for the races

Blimey that sounds Fun, I have to take off back to work the day after, though, but blimey count me in for that one, its my first time in Nelson, so reading up on it and cant wait to see the place, looks fantastic. Love to but cant... we have a big race event happening here that weekend, the Battle of the Buckets, and a few of us are racing (me included) so cant do the trek down south. Shame really cos i would like to do one.

Am thinking about the Burt Munroe rally and racing tho end of November... Although it clashes with another event in Timaru, but might have to bypass on that if we decide to do the southland bash instead.
