No, it's not German or American, but definitely a WWII battleship. The superstructure doesn't look quite right for a Yamato class BB. What is it?

Indy, your nerdish hobbies turn me on.
I'd like to see the ship when it is finished, perhaps I can come over some time when your parents arent home.

One of my favourite sites www.pancanal.com used to have a great piece of footage of the USS New Jersey (BB-62) transiting the Miraflores locks. Fanastic stuff.

I should see that canal a few times in my sea going career I dare say, doubt it very much I'll get a chance on this tour of merchant duty.
Edit: Swanny, you scare me sometimes lol

i got tha same F-14 model. Never finished it though, pretty much the same for all of the models i've got. Including a C-130 in RNZAF colours, a CH-53 just because and an Avro Vulcan because it is the coolest strategic bomber ever (oh and its pretty damn big)
Also have a skyhawk and an Aermacchi on the go too, but biking kinda took over and i dont really have much left of the weekend after drinking, sleeping and riding.

Beautiful!! Always loved the yamato bbs! I used to have the tiny 1/700 tamiya ones. Had the Yamato, Musashi, bunch of destroyers, cruisers and carriers... So cool seeing the shoe fleet laid out...
Till baby brother (then) sat on them and titanic-ed them!

Aircraft was never part of Gods plan. Don't go to heaven before your time. Would you have put two of every kind on a boeing? Nope. Didn't think so. Less likely to infringe on the living beings by using the waterways and that must be better for karma. Getting too clever with technology is entering the devils playground. Flight led to genetic modification. We invented the wheel - stop, stop right there. Keep on modelling but I prefer you stick to boats, aye.
