Those green boxes are REP points.
Sometimes you may get RED boxes for REP.

Click on User CP and you will be able to read what you got them for...
Once you have been on KB for x amount of time and have 250 posts you will then be able to see who gave them to you...

As to who writes the little message when you cursor over the green boxes..
Most likely SpankMe the owner of KB.

REP points are for if you say something intelligent... or something dumb and stupid.. or just for anything... dont panic if someone red reps you.. it just happens if they are having a bad day... so dont take it on board.

Title under name: Now at the moment you have L Plate under your name... keep on posting and that will change to something else when you have posted 30 times.
Then it will change again... and again.
Once you get to 1000 posts then you can write what ever you like in there...:rofl:
