While browsing the Police website (http://www.police.govt.nz) for specific contact details I came across the North Shore Waitakere Rodney Police, Auckland Metro Road Policing, 2006-2007 Business Plan (http://www.police.govt.nz/district/northshorewaitakere/nswr-road-policing-business-plan-2006-2007.pdf) and had a browse through it.

I was first confused by the title of this report however after looking up each word in the dictionary I had clarification and a better understanding.


Road means "An open, generally public way for the passage of vehicles, people, and animals".
Policing means "The governmental department charged with the regulation and control of the affairs of a community, now chiefly the department established to maintain order, enforce the law, and prevent and detect crime".
Business means "Commercial, industrial, or professional dealings".
Plan means "A scheme, program, or method worked out beforehand for the accomplishment of an objective".

(I'm taking the piss)

An interesting read for those interested, lots of statistical information too.
