Was just nosing around on Triumphs UK website (seeing what colours the 675 comes in if you must know...ahem) and noticed NO Speed 4 listed, so putting 2 and 2 together and getting, not unreasonably, 3.

I have decided that the launch of the 675 engined 'baby' speed triple could be close at hand, now I don't know about you - but that gets me very interested in all things Triumph, well the 675 had won me over anyways, but I would want to see a speed triple 675 before I made the next bike move......ah ya may as well dream.....although Holeshot do triumphs and Suzukis......

hmmmm....trade-in

hmmmmmmmm.........triples

Thats right, the Speed Four has been discontinued.
A baby speed triple would be very cool.

I'd prefer the 1050 to the 675 in any chassis.

I'd prefer a real engine.

but wouldn't both be better, certainly the market worldwide for 600cc+ engined bikes is as healthy if not more so, then for litre bikes, if Triumph can put a 675 speed triple on the road for sensible money it'll blow away all the jap competition, and force them to release a top spec naked bike instead of the 'built to a budget' junkers they churn out.

If it looked remotely like the current speed triple or previous generation model I'd be seriously thinking about a trip back to naked land!!!!!!!!!!!!:gob:

Cool, under the prevailing conditions it's a smart place to be.

The 600's are a bit under my radar - great bikes - just ergos too small for me.

I'm with Dave. The 1050 is more versatile.
Unless, that is, the 675 is ultra light. Then it might come close.

Did you just call me a fag?

Had a much better go today. Even got some chioce blood blisters from jammin' and hanging off the ring. In anything else but basketball parlance this would obviously be a problem. As it it - scars of pride.

I admire a man who is willing to use the words blood, blisters, jammin' and ring in the one sentence. Now I know I'm amongst friends.
