forgive my noobie question, but can they be registered? or are they too small? pretty hot bikes for 50cc lol cheers :)

Nothing to do with size, more so safety. Things like accepted lights, indicators, etc along with frame construction and controls. I've seen these before (along with the Suzuki Gag mini GSXR) and they should be okay, in fact the Gag is road legal here.

Are you importing it from Japan? Was it road legal over there if so?

Yup i have a friend living over there at the moment who has one, he got his cheap for about $300 NZ because the there was something wrong with the brakes, tidy bike too! Hes going to start sending cars back over here so i thought id slip a bike in next to the car LOL if it will fit that is.

If it was legal over there, there is a chance it could be made legal over here. For $300 just take your chances.

I've seen at least one YZR50/80 on the road here in Chch... slip it in next to it... you could slip one of those inside a station wagon/4wd pretty easily!
