'Back in the day' Maori would carve into the skin to give their Moko more definition. This often resulted in your head being more valuable to opposing tribes and once decapitated from the body it was sometimes traded.

The maori tattooists would sometimes carve so deeply they've completely pierce the cheeks or chip pieces of bone from around the eyes. The Samoan Tatau (traditionally done) involves a fair amount of carving, sometimes very similar to that. Yeah these 'modern' techniques are so now, fresh and new!

It upset me. With passion in the name I was expecting some good sex scenes, after all jesus was only human. Tarintino would have done a better job with the violent scenes too.

You're welcome :-P
So, theoretically, if you were "strung up by your nuts" (yes I've been threatened with this) then you could escape... eventually...?
Probably. Although the skin is the major limiting factor. Despite what it feels like skin is a lot stronger than scar tissue (and scar tissue is that surrounds a piercing...) If you were strung up and the wire went through one of your nuts, then sure, you'd get out.
Migration generally is a slow process so don't count on this method of escape or you might starve to death. it took a couple of weeks for one of my piercings to migrate a centimeter and that was considered fast, although fresh wire through the nuts would move faster.
Incidently, a lot of migration comes about from uneven stretching of piercings to larger sizes, which happens if going up in the sizes happens too fast.
