A drunk driver in Los Angeles who drove at a group of bikers ran HIMSELF over!
It appears the 50-year old man, who has only been identified as “Brooks” saw the group of bikers on the highway and swerved to aim at them, waving a pool cue. The bikers split into two groups to escape the raging drunk, but he aimed himself at two of the group who had pulled off the highway.
Armed with his pool cue, the driver got out of his car to attack the two bikers… before he could do anything, he was hit by his own car which he had left by mistake in reverse. The man was knocked into the highway and his car reversed into the central island. Some of the bikers took hold of him and pulled him out of danger.
California Highway Patrol Officer Scott Yox said there was no clue why Brooks reacted the way he did to the bikers, who kept calm and didn't retaliate.
The man suffered cuts and scratches and was hospitalised. He may face charges of assault with a deadly weapon and drink driving.
