Is there any good reason for not removing the mudgaurd/chaingaurd from a kawasaki balius? (or any other bike for that matter), I prefer the look of the bike when it isn't there and makes for far easier cleaning and chain oiling.... I was just wondering if someone could give some advice?
thank-you

Well, though it will make chain oiling and cleaning easier and quicker, on the other hand it will result in your rear undertray getting a hell of a lot dirtier with chain lube buildup.

The chainguard also helps to prevent stuff getting caught in the chain, which could only be bad news if whatever it is managed to get stuck or tangled in the chain.

Chainguard is (usually) required for a WoF.

EDIT: So too are mudguards.
