I think its only fair and just that the "unwanted" bike should be donated to a poor bikeless aucklander

Hamish is not AT ALL happy with you mangell6 - I showed him this thread and he went off muttering "now she'll want a bloody new helmet and gloves after that comment, thanks a bundle Mike"

I think it's a great idea, I'll have a good look at the Ducati clothing/accessories catalogue as soon as I get offline.

Hamish (via Lynda) - I will now remember that Lynda takes 'fashion' items mentioned in jest as real opportunities to PURCHASE said items. I am so sorry.

Hi What? - not sure what you mean by "ice tyres" - they are nice tyres, I had the Pilot Roads swapped for Diablos before I collected it.

Ah, of course. Sorry. Blonde. Early morning. I have no intention of going anywhere near ice. Fell off once many years ago on the stuff - not good.

They look great. I saw a pair of matching Trumpies on the IOM and they had consecutive number plates.
Have you got the same, or if not, thought of getting them registered together? :niceone:

I saw the title of this resurrected thread and got all excited thinking Hamish was going to surprise me for my birthday and that someone had sprung him!

However, it's nice to re-read and remember the excitment. And to know that I still love both of them.

Which one shall I take to Morrinsville this weekend? I'll have to have a think about that. They both have heated grips, so that doesn't come into the equation...... (Might be the car if the crap weather continues!!)

Zadok: the M800 has a personalised plate, the M1000 has it's original registration.

I thought I'd wait a while before giving The Treasurer a heart attack when I buy a second personalised plate. (he's still not coping too well with my spending up large on carbon fibre accessories)

Hehe. Proper accessories are important.
