Hi guys, Just curiousto know how many riders out there on KB have M109R's.
I recently got one an was keen to hook up with other riders to make it cheaper to bring in parts from Japan for them. There are heaps of parts available but not supplied by Suzuki NZ. Already got some stuff on the way but having to by sets is hard when i only want stuff for 1 bike.
Also noticed a heap of bike stuff on trade me these days, its really good to see so much stuff available for reasonable prices.
Love Kiwi Biker, you guys are a pretty interesting bunch and have alot of cool things to say. Go Hard.:Pokey:

I wish I could say that I do own one but alas I am still with my wonderful Volusia, if the universe was nice enough to grant my wish of winning the lotto I'd have an M109 in a flash, then a Rune and a Vulcan 2000 and a Rocket3 and a Road King Custom (yellow) and a Victory Vegas 8 Ball, I don't ask for much......

Hey cheers for that. scoped out Ebay, some really good stuff but I found its cheaper from a supplier in OK, USA. They will deliver as well and its all genuine stuff. I have ordered a heap of extras for mine including saddlebags, chrome fittings, screen and crash engine rails. Thanks for the advice.
These bikes rock for sure...
I was originally looking at a New V-Rod from New Market but they were so expensive by comparison and when it came to it the ride on the M109 was a heap more comfy and responsive. I know I know its still a jappa, but by jingo's this bad boy eats any Harley I've had and certainly out performs on the road from any I test rode. The only thing more grunty was the Insane Rocket 111. Each to there own, but for now this toy will do, well for 6 months anyway.
Then, well don't know what else really is left, only the Rune, but its a bit weirdish, or the Rocket, will have to wait and see.

I ordered some parts, they should arive here in NZ in the next couple of weeks. I still can't beleive Suzuki don't bring in there own accessories, how stupi is that. I have ordered genuine saddlebags, saddlebag mounts, flame chrome plates x 3 (2 spares), chrome shaft coversx3 (2 spare)
Can't wait for them to arrive. Don't get tham or suzuki parts from EBAY, I can give you the source if you want from a wholesaler in the USA, much cheaper, and more reputable too. They can do all suzuki and honda stuff.

Hey hows the bike once lowered? I find the feet dragging on the road quite often as it is. Does it make it any worse in that sence. Bet it looks good - would love to see a pic of it lowered?

waiting for the lowering kit waiting waiting, have made a set till the bones come from usa , riding is still about the same just a little different in the corners but with the 280 it stands up quicker out of the corner , have to watch the pipes , have you found your brake peddel is to wide and your foot tends to be at a 45 to the bike, cut mine in half and welded it on the other side of the arm , a must if you are going to lower the bike , now i have found hey are making a 2.25" set of bones these will be better have a pic of a 9 with 280 and lowered 2.75"

Nice one. Any info on how to and where from, to get the goods to lower would be appreciated. Thanks. I'm planning on getting the wheels chromed after seeing on on that website you suggested. Quite amped on the idea of modifying it now. Was quite happy with the way it was but not now after seeing what can be done relatively easily.
