View Full Version : F*cking with another mans motorcycle

R6_kid

To quote pulp fiction-
"There is nothing more chicken shit than fucking with another mans automobile, i mean you just dont do it"

How likely to go completely AWOL would you be if another person fucked with your bike?

Assuming that the tampering etc is intentional and im not talking changing your mirrors like your mate does to take the piss.

Where would you draw the line in terms of retaliation action, or would you simply report it?

In the perfect world you'd give the offender a thrashing without the bullshit of being done for assault.
That is if you caught them doing it.

i have gone completely psycho at several people (complete strangers) before for trying to move or sit on my bike. A mate of mine parked his bike outside the takeaways on Hill Rd Manurewa, when he came outside a guy was moving his bike..... needless to say my mate was f*cked off and beat the crap out of the guy real bad. He was left on the ground in the carpark covered in blood.

the only time i've had a chance to fire up was one night at a party when i had just done a gas run for my mate because he was borrowing a friends car which had no gas in it (which he didnt know for some reason), we had no funnel to put the gas in to the car so we smashed an emtpy bottle of lindauer and improvised with that, i turned around to see a drunk guy sitting on my bike, I went pretty psycho and if i hadnt known the guy (didnt know he was at the party) we woulda been inline for a bottling...

Still gave him a fucking grilling and a dead arm. Im usually a pretty calm person, but when the right buttons are pushed all my pent up anger from my school years comes out, i've scared my best mates a couple of times, and unsurprisingly they dont hassle me so much any more :Pokey:

Make a citizens arrest (http://www.netlaw.co.nz/crime.cfm?PageID=283) and tie up the perpetrator until the police arrive two weeks later?

Truth be known though, violence solves nothing, but it may make you feel a bit better afterwards or worse for that matter if the perp knows martial arts!

Gotta be careful nowadays when taking the law into your own hands, seems the powers that be frown on it and will punnish you even if you are defending your own property. :Pokey:

I'll never forget a situation when we were all having lunch and watched this guy walk up to our bikes... he started fiddling with Clive's (who happens to be a grumpy bastard) bike, the next thing the side stand gets put up... Clive stands up... next the bugger outside drops the R6 bloody hard... Clive smacked the guy equally hard... I dont know who I felt most sorry for the owner of the bike or the guy who dropped it, as the bike and the droppee came off second best i.e the both had a lie down

Ive had some hippie usuing my bike as a table while it was parked once... I asked her once to stop it went back up to my office and she was doing it again so I went down an threw all her shit onto the road and told her to fark off. Ive also had a workmate show me a photo of one of his mates sitting on my bike while it was parked outside work. They thought it was funny, I didnt and told them so. Scored a free chocolate bar for that tantrum!

I'll never forget the first time that I met NC, she had her VFR and was parked outside a pub in Lower Hutt. We went down for a smoke and there was a gang of Hutt "natives" playing on her bike, fark she's scary when shes angry! Was such a crack up seeing these staunch lil "natives" run of down the road looking like they were gonna cry!

I'd be pissed off if someone touched my bike (as in malicious) but someone interested in it and sitting on it might actually have an interest in motorcycling and not know the rules (i.e. don't touch).

Yes there are some idiots that will drape fuel hoses over the bike on the way to their car, and anyone that's never done anything stupid would be very welcome to have a go at them... anyone else would be a hypocrite if they do anything beyond voicing/pointing out their displeasure.

For God's sake people, we live in a civilised society. Mention of giving them a bullet??? Smashing them over etc? What good does it do - I mean really... what good.

How about we sort it out like grown ups?

Some of us are really protective over our bikes, I've had kids sitting on it before and fucking about with it and if it gets dropped I'm the dumb fuck who'll have to pay for it, yes it is extreme, but I'd get fucking angry if I found anyone on my bike.
If you see a really nice car in the parking lot, would you climb inside the car and have a look around? It's all about knowing the boundries and rules and if they don't know them then it is our duty to educate them, in one way or another. :spanking:

To quote another film, in this case "gone in 60 seconds" (the remake) Robert Duvalls character

"
You break it - you buy it, my friend!"

Which is exactly what a shouted in the ear of a chinese fellow who was twisting my throttle grip and pawing the bike while I was getting a sandwich, poor chap nearly jumped out of his skin, all he could manage to splutter out was "I have one as well", to which I replied "Well why don't you go and fucking drool over it and get the fuck away from my bike before you knock off its side stand, forcing me to kick you arse up and down the street".

He buggered off sorta sharpish after that and I ate my sandwich in peace, it was a foot long roast chicken from Subway and made all the sweeter by a bit of argie bargie

To get back to R6's question though - where do you draw the line...

Mate taking the piss and whacking the mirrors... yeah - whatever. Not my style, but it's hardly a criminal offense.
Mate doing it a second time after I'd asked him not to... pissed off and telling him so
3rd time... Mate being asked to find somewhere else to hang out.

Snotty kid in the street doing it - 1st time, tell them I expect they have a good reason for doing it, then ask for that reason. Put them on notice I don't want thgem to do it again.
2nd time, shout at them
3rd time, photo on phonecam, ring the cops. Little shits need to know society doesn't put up with little shits. They also need to know I'm not going to stoop to their level.

Cut brake lines or substantive damage... 1st (and any other time). ride bike directly to cop shop and report it.

No big deal - it's just a machine, but it's my machine... If people were damaging my friends or family - that's a different matter and I would be inclined to physically defend them rather than let them get hurt again.

Isn't that normal?

I come out to my bike after school and see people all around it, hardly anyone touches it. But if they do, depending on who it is, will be told to get the fuck off/away from my bike. Then I'd ride the bike over to the office and go straight to senior management and report that someone has been tampering with my bike. The said offender, would be dealt with the next day.

If it's not at school, then I'd just tell them plain and simple, get the fuck off/away my bike. If it's a kid, I would tell them not to touch.

If someone asks to sit on it or whatever, then that's a different story. I'm fine with that. Just don't go touching without asking.

F**KERS!!!
They couldn't understand why I was so angry (dude I was ropeable!) over a broken indicator "you hardly even need" and the "tiniest scratch" on the tank.
They had wanted to go for a ride but couldn't find the keys (funny that), and were in the process of trying to push the bike up the driveway so they could "ride it back down" when it "slipped". F**KERS!!!

I know it sounds weird but I felt kinda violated. MY bike had been touched. MY bike had been dropped. Why did these clowns not get it? It felt great to scream at both of these plebs AND get the apology the next day!

I guess the moral of my story is....If it's not yours, don't touch it. Regardless of whether you know the person or not.

To close on a good note, Drop-kick did get my bike fixed the follwing week and neither twat has stepped foot in MY garage since.:2thumbsup

i have had other people gawking .. had a 10 year or so old kid just drooling on it one day .. i walked up behind him and ( i think i startled him a bit .) said hi.. he looked scared shitless for a second until i offered to let him have a seat on her ..his face lit up like the Harbor Bridge

The saying if it aint yours, dont touch it rings true.

What is it with people? I was standing next to my bike outside a dealer in Lower Hutt. Just in front of me there was this guy with his bike ticking over while he was putting his gear on. Stone me, this random punter walks up, and after a few seconds or so of checking this chaps bike out, grabs the throttle and revs the hell out of it.

To be fair, the guy was pretty restrained and from what I could make of it, told him not to do that again.

I'm love my bike and it cost me a shed load of money, if someone did that to my bike, i'd be up the F*ing wall about it. Smacking someone over the head with my helmet, whilst in theory sounds great, the idea of being locked up for protecting my property by some pig doesn't.

i came out of St. Lukes mall one day and these Islander ' kids' ( 16-17 or so) were gathered around my bike .. one big bastard was sitting on her and twisting the throttle

i said 'hey man .. nice bike..'

'oh.. its not mine bro'

' yea ,,, i know .. its mine .. care to remove your big ass from my seat??'

very apologetic young man after that ..

i have had other people gawking .. had a 10 year or so old kid just drooling on it one day .. i walked up behind him and ( i think i startled him a bit .) said hi.. he looked scared shitless for a second until i offered to let him have a seat on her ..his face lit up like the Harbor Bridge

his dad came out of the shop and we got talking .. he said he always wanted a bike but just never got one ..

his son will have one when he grows up though .. guaranteed

situational responses man ..

I can not think of a better way to handle both situations... bling a ding ding mate! :niceone:

I let anyone jump on my bike. Mainly becuase its shit. But if somone I didnt know was moving it or somthing i'd (depending on how bad it was) tell them not to do it. IF they do it again i'd yell real loud at them untill the run away - just like sarge runs away scared from me becuase IM THA MAN.

I have had numerous people f**k with my bike...
I had my dear ginny stolen, got it back, fixed it up and promptly got it stolen again. This time didn't manage to ever get it fixed... I thought i knew who did it but didn't have any proof so couldn't really do anything about it.

Then i was working at placemakers over summer and i parked my bike up outside while i was working. One afternoon the gatehouse guy comes in and said: 'Hey there were some guys messing round with your bike about an hour ago...' I got so f**ked off and went out but they were long gone... I definately woulda given them a piece of my fist if i caught them.

I just couldn't believe that the sorry sack of s**t gate guy just sat and watched them do it...
Luckily they only nicked off with my rear dust cap off my wheel...
But still...
I saw red... and i am a very mellow guy.
