Fark! The kerb is made of ... lumps. Blue and white. Big ones. Concrete looking. And the next one is about 1cm from his right knee.

Surprised he can ride at all with balls that big.

Had a nasty incident with a dislocated knee cap and a cricket ball once...
Don't wanna repeat that crap. Might explain why my left slider is only crash damaged, not track damaged ;)

Have seen some pics of Sepang with riders brushing elbows and arms against armco and concrete, still an impressive picture. He must feel like he's horizontal from the saddle.
