OpEx, the oil producers and 'finders' of oil, have decided that oil prices have dropped too much lately. So they have fixed that for us, by reducing production.
Basically, the greedy shits want fuel and oil prices to stay up, to line their pockets, so the less oil that comes out, the more it costs, to us.
I'm normally not fussed when fuel goes up, cos it's usually out of human control (war, natural/nature issues etc), but this just takes the piss..
well, fill up I guess, really will never see these prices again

I'm sure they made an announcement last month or so, saying they'll do nothing with output levels for quite sometime. Obviously they changed their mind or lied.

Look, who cares about the price of oil. I only change mine every 4000ks. I just wish petrol was a bit cheaper.

That's a whole otyer discussion that'd hijack this thread so fast your head would spin... a bloody good question though.
I'm just glad the BP, Shell and the like don't act as a cartel too... imagine if that started to happen... not only would the price of fuel be going up, we'd have no chance to find the cheap stuff while it lasts...

Owning a Buell is like being married to someone you don't like very much, hence why you only do things for her when it's either really necessary or the nagging gets too much. Owning an MV is like dating a supermodel. You do anything and everything just to please her. You give her things that she doesn't really need just so she keeps pleasing you in a way only a supermodel can.

And owning an Aprilia is the best of both worlds, a supermodel that looks after herself!
10,000k servicing, thanks for coming, I'll be here all week. Do try the soup.

cos the scum that start war shouldn't be considered human, and the wars that do go on, the oil dudes still work near or in those situations, so that isn't their fault..

To get the thread back on track. This isn't a new move. It's one that has been used regularly since the sixties by all oil producers. I'd say it was no coincidence that BP's oil pipes suddenly needed lengthy overhauls and will be out of commission for a few months just as the middle east crisis starts to ease and prices start to fall. Oil producers are in it for profit. If ever a viable alternative to oil is found, whatever it may be, you can take it for granted those same producers will still be holding the reins.
