Hi.
Anyone know where to get it? Obviously just for theft, maybe for fire also.
Cheers.

Will the insurance company for the blade not do it?
A mate of mine has his blade unregistered (rego on hold) but it is still insured as normal but obviously can't be ridden.

I have fire, theft and conveyance insurance for the race bike through Classic cover. PM Cibbychick for details. Might need to get her on Sportsbike as she can't get KB at work.

I haven't asked them yet...the idea just hit me as I was about to leave work...thought that I may as well get some views from other peeps before I call them on Monday.

SO i can drive my unregged unWOFed cage around and crash and still be covered!

I didn't say that...
There are plenty of vehicles (large dump trucks for example), that aren't rego'd (or have WOF's for that matter) and have FULL insurance.

But would they pay out?

But would they pay out?
For something that doesn't require a WOF or registration (because it's driven on private land for instance), I would imagine they would. But if you insure your bike and ride it while it is not registered, then I think you will find something in your policy that states the vehicle insured must meet the legal requirements of the road - same goes if your licence isn't valid. If your WOF had expired but the bike was currently registered and insured an insurance company may have to prove that the bike's condition contributed to the accident to avoid paying out. Best not to risk it!
