Fitted chambers to my brothers H2 many years ago and it is a sweet sound indeed. I wonder what this guys neighbours thought of him ring dinging outside his front door?

Had an H2 on standard pipes which was the coolest sounding bike I ever owned. I also had a RD350 on chambers at one stage that certainly pissed off my neighbours. Bring back the 2 strokes..!

yeah but dig this... Im dying brought it off Kickaha's brother and Stanko brought it off Imdying, and that was well before KB was around, none of them knew each other... small world aye :cool:

you mean you had an RZ500 and you SOLD it, shame on you:beer:I got into my head that $3000 was too much to spend to fully rebuild the motor.... then proceeded to waste about 10 times as that much over the next few years :no: Some lessons need to be learnt the hard way :weep:

Well Stanko didnt think so, told me to come on over and take the old smoker for a spin, actually he said it needs running in, sweet aye... however he did threaten all limb amputation and steralisation if I sieze it :chase:


Kickaha is Carey's brother????

Buggered if I know, but his brother owned that bike at some stage

I wonder how many H2's are sitting in sheds out there..or at the bottom of tips around the country.

Remember when RD's were everywhere.... and Two Strokes were the norm.

I'm glad i grabbed a few when i could.....

Maybe one day I'll end up with one, but for now I'll make do with the RD250LC.

My mates RG500 sounds very similar. Cant beat the sound or smell of the old 2 strokes.:2thumbsup

RZ500s don’t have flash 17” wheels/brakes & Nikon pipes. But my one will:banana:.

Well actually its my mates & has all those things & lives in his kitchen as an unfinished project. Me? - I’m just biding my time. . . :wari:

Last time he rode it it was std & he put it over a bank at low speed, my RZ350 made it, 'cause it would have been dumb to land both bikes down that gully. The question is when will he feel like selling it?

yep... great sound, hehe. Also smells good once the engine is nice and esploded

I remember many many years ago [prolly B4 some of you were born!!) 3 into 1 expansion chambers were all the rage for the 'ram air' Suzuki GT380/550 triples & even the Waterbus GT750
You actually LOST performance, but WHOOWEE the sound!!!! A sort of haunting wail that was all worth it
