At the moment I'm not sure what's going to happen with the bike (whether they're going to write it off or what...) but... I've just signed a purchase agreement for a cbr250 anyway... hehe it has sooo much more power than the ZZR250 and hell turns a lot better and U turns even easier... I figure if they don't write the ZZR250 off I'll just sell it... Anyone looking for a decent 250? I've got pirelli sport demons on it, and new sprokets and chain when I got it along with chain oiler... :)

Once in a while you jump on your bike and the weather is fantastic and the roads are dry and you are in the zone and everything feels fantastic.
Today was one of those days. A quick trip up to apiti like planned and then off on a wander. I only wish I took my camera cause there was some awesome views. Stopped at the mangaweka dam which was interesting. Bonez took us for a short bush walk to see the way dams used to be built.
Meanie needs a sports bike cause is now missing heatshields from his muffler from scrubbing them on the ground.
Fantastic day for first day of daylight savings

Got home. Fuck there's still at least 4hrs of daylight riding time left. Then saw Connie had started weeding the front garden and thought "better not". The GB
ran like a top. Though must get the top end seen to at some stage.

Thought I'd do you a favour and stay away just to see if the rain theory worked.
Thinking of changing my handle to Rainman. If it rains on the next ride I go on I will.
Glad you had a good ride.

Still eventfull. Meanie managed to scrape his pipes so much an exhaust heatshield mount broke, releasing the shield to the wild. Oh and cowbozy pretended to be a stunt rider on a rather sharp corner the Gb just sailed around. :Pokey:

Awesome ride fellas, a bit bummedf about loosing me heat shield off the exhaust after the bike scraped the seal round that corner, all was going well until i found the big dip in the road while leaning into the corner Made me cheeks tighten up i tell ya
Then to top it off checked out my tyre at home and shes showing steel in the middle, that tyre didnt last long :crybaby:
Hey cowboy you didnt mention your hairy corner  oh and the other one

I was scouting round for your bike and checking the weather maps. I am not sure if the rain follows you or you follow the rain....but the weather was fantastic so I figured even the mighty roar of the ZZR couldn't shake moisture out of them clouds. Been proven wrong before.

You only made it round alright cause you werent peddling hard enough. :buggerd:

Yep. bits falling off the VN1500 sportsbike.. oops it is a cruiser isn't it? I am sure the salesman mentioned that when you brought it... you just werent listening. I am sure that you think those big round things out the side of your bike are stabilizers.. they are not.. they are mufflers!
I wasn't going to mention my incident. Especially after some of the crap I let fly round here about people not being able to keep the rubber side down. Hey, at least now I know it *is* possible to pray to god, budda and the biker gods all in under 0.05 of a seconds cause I swore I was going for a big highside.
I told you to lay off those pies.. Even the 1500 has a weight limit and the poor tyres just can't handle the strain.
Not to mention being fashionably late. Mind you, he made up for that in Kimbolton.
Just checking if they were still open. Didn't want you to wear your legs out peddling all the way up to Kimbolton to find they were closed.

In the words of John Travolta... If you are important enough, they will wait.
Damn, it sounds like I also missed a probable only and last chance to not be the last one to turn up...
Doesn't happen often, but it does happen..
Right. Have I offended enough people for one day? Best start being nice or I might be riding alone next month.
