As some may have gathered, I went to Taupo with WarlockNZ on the first leg of his Great North Island adventure (To make sure the Hobag didnt fall apart upon leaving the Greater Auckland Limits)
So here are the photos that I took, the weather forcast was for showers and rain, but yet again the Weather Geanie came to the party :)

Disappointed with the pictures there dude - thought this was a sequel to "Daisy does Dallas"

Warlock needs to put on some weight and fill those leathers out a bit.

Way to go Mav. Really stretching the legs of the Bandit! Howd it go on fuel??? I bet that screen made for easier progress along the Motorway. Cool pics- really nice bit of the country.

4 pots & no fairing? He needed a tanker following him all the way!:killingme:

Maverick's trip to taupo is the reason petrol prices have dropped - he had to buy so much they've made their projected profit for the year!

Har Har, not quite,
At the moment I am getting around 200km off a tank (14L?) so about a tank and a half each way to Taupo.

The best part was at breakfast this morning, I was talking trash about Ho-bags as usual, and WarlockNZ was trying to defend his little Banana-mobile as usual, so I asked the cute blonde waitress to choose which bike she prefered...

It wasnt the Hobag. :Pokey:

Was a great trip, I was thinking that if half a dozen or so people were keen maybe we could book out a backpackers lodge for a nights cheep accomodation and turn it into a weekend KB event if anyone is keen?

What the? I rode down past there on the same day on my way to the KB welly ride. Figgers - but I guess I would have been safer being away from the slippery banana

Never mind, any excuse for a bike ride eh? :2thumbsup
