Hi, my name is Lucy and at the risk of being totally trashed on this site, I want to set up a Scooter club for girls/women/ladies/chicks in Christchurch.
My philosophy is all women, all scooters. I dont care what you ride, what colour it is or whether it's the latest Vespa or the oldest Honda. I just want to ride my scoot with other like minded girlies and have some fun. I also see the group promoting safe scooting, socialising, and lots of fun. Welcome to the nuthouse of KB. Go for it- It is all good if it gets more gals on scoots having fun, & riding safe on two wheels. Don't forget to keep an eye on meetings for stuff happening locally to meet up with other riders.

Well I have to say that I have been genuinely surprised and touched by the replies from the non-scooterists that have commented on my idea. Thanks guys, it proves that you don't hate all us scoot-mad folk. To Cola pop I say, I have bought a decent bike - my gorgeous Ivory BUG Espresso - and I will be getting my full bike licence upon this gorgeous beast and the namby pamby kiss arse mofo's can suck up to me as much as they wish too. I dont mind! If sucking up means having something nice and positive and encouraging to say then 'bring it on'. You might wanna try that Cola.:calm:

i brought a scooter for my girlfriend but the trouble is she hasnt got the confidence to ride it yet....... maybe this club is what she needs

i take it to work most days now. have had quite a bit of shit from car drivers that i have never had on my bike. i like watching there smiles fade tho once i catch up to them (eventually) what makes people think riders on scooters arent capable of inflicting serious harm
