Well people, Here it is.
The thou is gone.
The new toy is in the garage.

May come as a bit of a surprise to those who know me, but its something different.
Will keep this for a little hile, then get the new Blade when they come out.
Ive always had sport bikes, so why the hell now i say.
Have chucked a Micron can and Givi screen on it. So now sounds great.

2006 CB1300
I am going to enjoy riding up and down the country side.

Marty - that's a nice looking bike. How do find the handling differences?

Its rained everyday since ive had it! So dont know how it really handles yet.
Doesnt feel too bad, Feels very much the same as a Hornet but with 3times more torque!

And don worry Andries... I still have the racebike to use the leathers on:2thumbsup
It wheelies pretty damn well too:whistle:
Balance point is stupidly high though:cool:

Good onya for deciding to make a complete change Sparky! The 1300 will have heaps of torque & grunt that you'll enjoy whilst riding up and down the countryside. I like the wings on the tank. :niceone:

Looks nice man. I also wouldn't mind trying something different like a vtwin but unfortunately can only have one bike and choping and changing bikes is expensive. One day, one day.

Nice one Martin. A very sensible choice (for you to make) however I expect you will be getting your knee down on it (if not done so already). Bet she sounds great.

Will you be doing the sprints in November on it??

You may have to work on your grip if you do! ! ! ! :D

Have fun and hope to see you out on it soon.

And there I was admiring your Fireblade when you pulled up at the Sprints. Wow, that's a smart looking bike ,why don't I have one of those.. oh that's right I did. The Blades are great but I'm like you, always changing bikes, trying something different is all part of the biking experience.
Enjoy it mate.

Good Joke Sparky now what did you really replace the Blade with?

Caught up with your Dad couple of weeks ago, He will be so proud of you keeping up the Honda tradition.
