Now you know why I'm Crasherfromwayback.
And I'm still doing it!
Yes it hurt.
I'll be back.

No, but I sure did when I got up and tried to get out of the way for the 30 odd bikes coming through!

Having hay bails on a corner like that is stupid. They should have provided something softer in front of the hay.

I think it's a cost and space thing, if you start putting air fences in front of hay bales, you'll end up with no track left. I'm pretty sure my ankle got as mashed as it did because it plowed under the hay and into the curb.
The host club does a fantastic job with what they have, and it was just one of those things.

I've thought about it, but realistically my ankle's nowhere near up to it yet.
Especially if they put an off road section in for the motoards this year (which they're trying to do).
Next year for sure. I hope you guys go well and have fun. Stay AWAY from the bridge...it's quite solid!

Funny you should say that. After the first practice session last year, a mate of mine who was using my DRZ and riding there for the first time asked me for some tips and advice....I said, "Whatever you do, don't bin it in the esses or on the bridge"!
I then showed him why....
I'll have a Steinie or two for you in my chilli bin for when you're done!
