heard a whisper the other day.
honda is/has pulled the manufacturing of CBR 250 parts.
now, im not sure if this includes the 400s, but i know for a fact that the Jap market has changed alot, and over the last 2 years bike demand is almost zero.
instead they are buying maxi scooters!
so this does make sense, im not sure what happens with the other Big 3..
so, parts could be in very short supply soon, honda has no obligation to supply them too, as the CBR 250 was never offically imported into NZ.
i know it was in AUS...but this is just what i heard.

who cares, so many bikes out there that there are loads of spare parts still available. surprised that they are still even making parts for it.

Honda HAD a policy - it's a little different now.
They will remake parts IF there is enough demand

I heard the internet is going down for maintenance. At least thats what the 404 message I set up on the proxy server is telling everyone until someone gets the smarts.

No worries - but they'll need some extra disk to back it up before you start fixing it.

Could a mod please change the title of this thread to "CBR 250 Parts Service Discontinued".
Reason, everybody knows that there is never any bad news for CBR 250 owners. I mean just look at them!

Apparently theres no demand for '86 NS250R headgaskets, pistons, rings (but they do make base gaskets whoopee!)
no demand for 1987 CBR250R main bearings
Plus their system blows - order something, pay for it and then you get told a week later they don't make it any more.
I heard they only supply parts for 15 years now.
