Looks like this bike is just asking for two guys and a dark tinted van to pull up :shifty:

Its parked on the shoulder of the Ellerslie Panmure off ramp on the motorway heading north.

I think he went down this morning, there was an ambulance there as I wheelied thru the traffic on my way to the orifice.

Somone might want to pick it up before it leaves of its own accord in the back of a van, its a pretty industrial area round the offramp.....

I know that bike.

Do you know the rider? Might be a good idea to call him/her and ask if they are ok (re the crash??) and see if they need someone to grab the bike before it ends up... well gone

Yeah, speedie was just bringing a jerry can for the guy and the cop was merely sitting enjoying his donuts.

There was also a car and a tow truck but it probably wasn't in any way related.

Dude got hit when a car changed lane - cuts and bruises - he's fine though.

Someone with a trailer needs to get his bike for him then.

If they need somewhere to store it my place is only about 5 minutes away, have a spare park behind the security gate.

Hopefully someone at his place of work will help out - they should have no problem moving a bike....or finding somewhere to store it!

Plenty of room there to pull up with a trailer on the shoulder and load it on then head down the offramp.

Okay - spoke to Tommy - he can't do anything about the bike until after work unfortunately.

What can be done?

Aye - that's what I'm worried about.

I have not got a trailer and I'm stuck in the office until later too.

nz_liam - is your place close enough that someone could push the bike there for safe keeping?

I could possibly get someone to give me a lift there and push Tommy's bike out of harms way if that's feasible (just means I'll have to work late to catch up) He said it's not rideable at the moment.

Nah - scratch that - his dad's on his way to collect the bike this arvo as we speak.

Cheers everyone.

My place is on Mays Road Onehunga, about 5 mins ride but a bit far to push, we have a gated carpark if you want to use that, just let me know, 0800 306 104.
