I'm going join Spank and go and test ride a heap of bikes at AMPS today. They have 19 demo bikes and all licenced riders are welcome to come and try some of the most desirable machines going.

So excitement.

That test riding lark is for people with far better self control, or more money, than I. No doubt you're having a ball up there.

Went along and the bbq sausages were $2 each WTF???

Otherwise I took the Buel Ulysses for a ride. Seat to die for :2thumbsup

..but I didnt like the wind blast, it was right on my neck and the wind pressure kept opening my visor, and buffetting my helmit. It was a bit too tall for me too.

I'll have one of everything thanks.

Street Rod for me - that black and orange one.
I only have about 30,000 good reasons not to buy one at the moment.

Had a burn on the big air cooled units - The new '96' Twin Cam engine is a real treat too. Still shakes like the waiting room at the Betty Ford clinic at idle - but smooth and quite punchy when you nail it.

Got me beat why they would go to a six speed - 5 was plenty - gearbox doesn't seem any different to previous models - just got one more (Un-necessary for mine) cog.

Nice work AMPS.

Details on the bikes is at www.h-d.com
