Relisted due to mr kiwifruit deciding after he won it at auction he didnt want it! nice one allan.

Nice tidy NC29 400rr

Only travelled 32,000km, motor starts easy and runs sweetly.
Has a smooth 6 speed gearbox.
These bikes are a great step up from a 250 or just fun for a blast in the twisties.
It will keep up with the bigger bikes no problem.
Redline is 15,000rpm
These bikes were only ever sold new in the Jap market so dont! ask if its an import!
Has some small damage to the left side, rash on the rear and a few small cracks in the left fairing (see photos) cracks have been plastic welded from behind. Bike had fallen off the stand or at slow speed by the look of the damage.
Needs to find a new home as I have too many bikes and no time to ride them all.
Rego until 23/11 and has a new warrant as of last week .has a new rear tyre .Happy to help arrange freight with bike Transport Company at new owners expense.

Good webpage for more info on the NC29

with good reason

Hopefully you told these people that it had been written off after a truck backed over it this time. Though I highly doubt it.

whats your point? cosmetic damage write-off got a vin and wof no problem

The fact that you replaced the front disc because it was a write off should have been metioned when you sold it. I told you last time that it was written off, not "fallen off its side stand" yet you still fail to put this in your advert when selling it again. Id be really f*cked off if someone wasnt honest about what had really happened to a bike when I bought it off them. You blatently lied in your advert.

um yes it did fall off the stand! a truck backed into it! or was your mate riding it at the time?
so what, it passed vin and wof? do you think car dealers tell you if every car they sell has has a prang? fact is i replaced the disk and fixed the cosmetic damage to it, then it got got re reged and a wof

Last time you advertised the bike for sale on here I told you exactly what happened and all of a sudden you agreed with me that it had been written off. Yet this time you leave that out AGAIN! Im not going to get into an argument about this but I would be very wary buying a bike from you.

It's all here: http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?t=35423

yes it did get writen off but thats a term loosly used isnt it!
writen off means insurance payed out for it, they didnt de reg damaged, as it only had minor damage. i cant see your point in this case.
I take your point if it had had major frame or wheel damage then yes. but it didnt.
your mate should have kept it!

Was the motor assesed after a truck backed over it? Even a small for to the ground can put things out of balance. Reagrdless of it being a write off, I would want a whole package that worked

Thankyou Sniper! This is exactly my point. If I was going to buy a bike then I would want to know if it had been written off or not cause if it had been then I would be getting it checked out properly. A truck backing over a bike to me is a majorish thing, especially if you had to change the front disc because it was soo badly munted by said truck.... A little honesty after your first "attempt" at selling it would not have gone astray Crazy Bigal!

I would say that motor will fuck itself soon if you didnt have it checked and it sounds iffy. Im not pointing fingers mate, Im just saying that one day you will do something like that and it will come back to bite you in the arse.

bike just had a full pre purchase check.
bike is fine just running a bit poor due to dirty carbs that need a good tune.
I think some people should stop slinging mud unless they know what they are talking about!

Your limp handshake, general confrontational attitude, along with many other "bad vibes" i got from you (and the fact the bike wasn't running as it should with no explanation just more aggressiveness) was more than reason enough for me to advise my friend to simply walk away from you.
I really believe it was the right thing to do. Buyer beware etc. Lets just say i could smell a rat!

I am glad that the bike is (apparently) OK for the new owner... I wish them the best of luck

Regards, Allan.
