Yesterday I found myself rolling all over the Wainui Coast Road with a very sad looking cbr landing in the gutter beside me:weep:
So I'm on the search for bits for the bike - PLEASE let me know if you hear of any of these bits for a cbr600rr going begging:
- Front sub-frame (that holds on the fairings and instrument panel)
- Front fairing
- Left hand side fairings (incl belly bit)
- Instrument panel
- Front left indicator
- Plastic on the front of headlights
Hopefully that's it and there's not many more nasty surprises...
(Btw, lowside cranked over on a left-hander - no idea why it gave out. Just a sore knee and wrist and a scab on the end of my nose though).

Sorry to hear about that bad luck. I had a similar off and it's taking a while to get the confidence back because I'm not sure why I lost traction. Vic club track days over labour weekend will be the go me thinks. Can't help with parts sorry.

Not good but atleast you came out of it not too badly hurt. Have you still got the Jade?
SparkyBills might know where to get some of the parts. Hope you collected up all the bits and pieces as you may have to repair them to get by. Its amazing what can be plastic welded back together and look ok.
Good luck finding the parts.

HTF did you get a scab on your nose???
Whenever I crash the visor seems to spontaneously fly off and because I've had the helmet for a while there's prob a bit of movement in there so I guess I ended up sniffing the pavement maybe? Yeah, yeah - time for a new helmet I know.

*Whenever* there's a crash? They're not supposed to be regular occurrences...

Sux about the bin, good that you are ok though.
CBR1000RR looks more or less the same as the CBR600RR, do the parts match? Thous seem to be a bit more common than the 6hundies.

I crashed my push bike at about 55k into a road sign and flipped end over end a couple of times into some dirt and the only injury of note was a scab/graze on the inside of my ear which took ages to heal
Hope you and the bike heal soon!

Oh - and mirrors if anyone has them!
I might be able to ressurrect the instrument panel/computer and just get a new casing for it so I'll see if that'll work.
Cowpoos - Nah, still gonna get it back on the road. It was my only legal vehicle:(
Dave - it's on a trailer at the mo but thanks!
Allun - thanks for the offer but I've got one so that's cool.

Gutted to hear about your crash, but glad you are ok :niceone:
1 Front sub-frame (that holds on the fairings and instrument panel)
2 Front fairing
3 Left hand side fairings (incl belly bit)
4 Instrument panel
5 Front left indicator
6 Plastic on the front of headlights
1: Can possibly be welded
2&3: Can be plastic welded and even if small bits are missing they can still be fixed
4: Costly one... Try ebay
5: Buy OEM off Sparky Bills
6: They are generally sealed units, so you might have to get a whole new set of headlights :( GSXR ones are around $600 OEM otherwise try ebay...

Bad luck but shit happens. BTW ebay is your friend esp. for the rare expensive bits.... fairings are best plastic welded locally and painted.
If you need decals try these guys : www.tapeworks.com
