For some unknown reason my mouse started smashing itself against the desk. I tried to hang on to it's tail to stop it, but it just kept swinging wildly at the desk top during a game.
So looking for recommendations for a new gaming mouse.

The copperhead was my pick of the bunch. The user profiles can be changed with a button on the side of the mouse. Very comfy too.

go the standard intellimouse, all the sculpted ones are to small for big hands, and the intellimouse has clicky buttons and a direct wheel, a lot of others are too mushy.

I just use a G5, it has a wheel mouse that works in clicks, like one click moves up/down one unit etc.
its good for binding to fire for automatic wepons if you only want to fire one shot of at a time.
On the fly mouse sensitivity is probaly the most usefull feature ive seen. well I only use it on one setting but when mates come over they can quickly choose one that suits them etc.
I would of liked 2 side buttons rather than one though.
The weight of the g5 is awesome(and adjustable but its kinda gimacky but its cool), and it glides over the pad like a hovercraft. smoooth as.

I had the MX1000 for a while. Then my brother nicked it:Pokey: It was really good for gaming and works on more surfaces than the red optical mice. The only thing was you couldn't use it left handed and the software that came with it sucked.

I use one of these (http://store.ergocube.com/3mermous.html) for work. As a draughtsman I use a mouse all day long and I find it very comfortable. It's not a joystick. I dunno what it'd be like for gaming though.

I've brought a Razer Copperhead in chaos green. Took me ages to find a shop that had one in stock. Ended up having to buy one from the GP Store for $170 :shit:
Will see what it's like in game when I play Zombie Strike tonight.
