Since I have got online again from my wee stint away, I have noticed that more and more of my posts are being consinged to the pointless drivel thread. Now usually it wouldnt phase me because of the amount of shit I post, but some of them were valid and actually made sense.

I dont ask for explanations why and get pissed cause you do it, Im just noticing that Im getting increasingly targetted while watching worse drivel being ignored. Dont get me wrong, you mods do a good job ect ect (/arse kiss) but screwing with posts that are damn near identical to someone who has posted after me just gets a bit annoying.

I have my theories on who it could be, but Im not making calls

Hmmm...interesting concept.

I must confess I do write a fair bit of shite myself - usually to try and make people smile and if I voice an opinion I try not to be personal about it (unless I actually know the person and know they can handle it - then it's no holds barred!).

In light of this I just went to have a look see if any of my posts have been moved to PD - couldn't find any of mine in PD and haven't received any infractions either. Recieved Red Rep once....months ago (still haven't stopped laughing!).

So there must be a fine line there somewhere...wonder when I'll cross it?

I'll need to find another "post building thread" so I can catch up and pass Sniper on the Post Count too.

One post does not in itself condemn a thread to Pointless Drivel -- unless it's a real doozie, and the first post!

A thread that lamely meanders along stands a chance of non-condemnation. But once the "line" has been (in a mod's considered opinion) irretrievably crossed, than off the thread is bundled. Man and boy.

On occasions, offending posts can be disentangled and relegated separately. But if the initial thread wasn't exactly a showstopper in the first instance, it's easier to dispatch the whole thing.

Of course nobody posts on KB just to get their individual post count up. And there are several examples of threads that have survived to lead vibrant and fullfilling lives in Pointless Drivel.
