Its a pretty strong word for most.

I thought I hated a couple of specific people from KB, even. I think that was just misguided anger that was channeled to individuals for reasons that eventually became possible to overlook. Now even though a couple of people still remain in my block list (makes life a hell of a lot easier!), I actually don't hate any KB member.

However...

Some of you must know that my van was stolen 3 months ago and it and it's contents were trashed to say the least. I was very very angry at the culprits at that time. That was hate. Some how after resurecting the van, I found a way to move on. That feeling dissapeared with time and I was happy again.

On Saturday evening, between the hours of 18:00 - 21:00 from the town center of Ellerslie, my van was broken into again. This time, they didn't steal the van. They stole my MTB that was inside along with various items.

What I feel for the person (s) who stole my much loved MTB can be only discribed with one word, hate. Unless, he/she did this to feed his hungry and dieing children or to buy medicin for his/her, sick mum I'd still be OK with it...

But the reality is most probably going to be, some punk kids on school holidays running wild, stealing and vandalising people's private property, since they are low life bums who don't want to earn an honest living by getting a job. You little pricks, I hope you burn in hell. I hope before that day comes, you will come across the most unfortunate circumstances known to mankind. I hate you.

As for my MTB, it breaks my heart. It's probably the only K2 Flying Monkey in NZ. It was perfect for what I needed and I can still remember when it first landed in Auckland through post. I was soo excited.. Good bye old friend.. You taught me invaluable lessions in the physics of wheelies.

Sorry to hear, and understand your feelings. Had my old pushbike nicked once. The sod was too lazy to walk to the shop so "borrowed" my bike from our carport. Got it back as he then left it at the shops, must have got a lift from there, I suppose.

It's a violation and makes you uncomfortable and you just want to catch the offender and make him see the error of his ways...

Motoracer: Do you know the vin number on the pushbike?
As all pushbikes have a number stamped on it somewhere.

Sorry to hear about your gear being nicked, I do know what that feels like. I got an alarm put in my van at the cost of $360-00, which the insurance have given me cheaper premiums. If you can afford it, worth the peace of mind, however if the theiving scum really want to get in, they will...

Thanks heaps man!! :)

I should be OK though... Hopefully House and contents insurance might cover it..

Everyone who offered to keep an eye out for it, cheers heaps! BTW the forks aren't white like in the pic. I later on put new set of black coloured forks (Not 'black' the brand).

Van was supposed to be sold ages ago. For 1 reason or another it kept on being delayed. I don't really even use it anymore but the other car I usually use, not mine broke down so I had to take the van..

Don't worry. I will spend a fair bit on security systems on my next vehicles. Flame throwers targeting thieves would be pretty bloody awesome!

Were you at Puke that day when I was trying to do it in front of KBers? Aparantly I was a few inches off. I had extra hard compound commuting, dual purpose front and mud rear tire. After getting that close my front gave me hints of it letting go.

With a sticky set of hook worms which are soft compound slicks for MTB's, should be possible to do.. Always wanted to do it down this set of esses going down hill. http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=42271&d=1158818623

Not with race leathers ofcourse! I'm not that silly. Will just wear knee pads.
