Mini-Moto enthusiasts in King’s Lynn (in Norfolk, in England) now have a new facility to allow them to enjoy their machines safely and legally.

Norfolk Arena, home to the town's speedway team, has become the official venue for a project to promote the responsible use of mini-motos. Moto KL – with support from West Norfolk Council - has invested in six bikes and safety equipment to allow organised groups to enjoy mini-motos as well as offering new changing rooms, a meeting room and a purpose-built track for users.

This scheme provides an alternative to Norfolk Police’s campaign to crush mini-motos illegally used on roads and in public places.

(I've mentioned this as (a) you guys may well have heard of the King's Lynn speedway team, what with NZ having a long and proud speedway history and (b) I know mini-motos are being perceived over there as a major problem as well, so it is nice to see that someone is thinking about how to deal with it in a positive way).
