Sure - he seems like a nice guy, prone to doing some silly things and I'd like to remind him there is a better way

aka donuts at the top of our road.

Is that an old black plate ?.... FE is around 1968.
Did they make Torana's then

Disclaimer..I probably missed something

Don't know but the car it's attached to looks like one of the old 5 litre Toranas...

... bump...

Any chance of getting that ID?

No worries cheers.

it also raises the question - how do I find out who's looked up my plates? That might explain a wee issue I hate with my bike straight after I got it...

I haven't seen the car...ran the plate number for you.

Sorry - I thought the record had the type of car it's actually registered to.

I saw it on one of the old Toranas (the small overpowered 5litre ones)... and if it's suss I have some Police contacts I need to speak with.

Think I'll be doing that anyway.

Cheers

Doing donuts at the top of your street? How terrible! So what? 20yrs ago I was doing the same thing, except it would have been in a crappy MK1 Escort. How about all the bad, bad riders doing stoppies and wheelies? You'd better get a big note pad. I'd understand your anger if he'd run you off the road or something, but donuts?

stoppies aren't noisy dickhead.

That and a couple of other things... no biggy... his time's nearly up.

They will tell you if anybody has looked your details up, but they won't tell you who. Until they change the law to make it possible only for "approved persons" to search the details attached to your plate, all of my vehicles will remain registered to a bullshit physical address and to my workplace's PO Box.
And they wonder why so many Harleys get stolen. Fucktards.

Bizarre - but I guess that information must be logged and available to approved persons... surely

Don;t know if it's one of or not - this is the first time I've come face to face with any of the idiots doing this shit around our block.

I'm also a fan of dealing with the small stuff so it doesn't grow into the bigger stuff (broken windows policing approach). I was expecting some spotty 17 year old behind the wheel, but met a 35 (ish) white guy... trying to be 17.

Knob.

Yep, but prevention is better than a cure that won't recover the loss.
As you said, its a bit of a "broken windows" thing.
