Do you still maintain that the use of an apostrophe to signify the plural of an acronym is incorrect.
I wish to convey that there is more than one light emitting diode on the dashboard and
LED's for low fuel and....
looks right to me.
However if you tell me that
LEDs
is correckt so it be.

I'm sure you know this BD but I am aware that a lot of the txting generation also read this forum so I shall attempt to impose my interpretation of the usage of apostrophes as gleaned from a Scottish education.
LEDs = Plural (3 LEDs)
LED's = belonging to the LED (the LED's colour is red)
LED's = missing letter (LED is - the LED's on)
LEDs' = belonging to plural (the 3 LEDs' colour is red)
gijoe1313 will be able to help.

Pity you got the apostrophe wrong
It is not - 's not (or 'snot if you must). There's no missing letter betwixt the s and the n .

What or who, pray tell, is the BOTTYNZ? And, about these stamps - do they contain a glue that when licked induces a heady rush?

Nope but when the BOTTYNZ opens their gobs you'll gead a ready hush!
Ixion, my apostrophe represented "orry it is". Therefore: S'not = "Sorry it is not" and therefore could be perceived to be correct :killingme: but I wouldn't want to be that pedantic.

What does 'BOTTYNZ' stand for?
What picture styles do the green stamps come in?
Are these washable off with water, turpentine or require laser treatment (aka tattoos)?
Or as your referring to Passport stamps (aka deportation)?
