View Full Version : Bloody cop!

Was in Levin this morning and saw this cop car pull up along the main street. Cop got out and walked into Mr Bun to get his morning tea. Problem with that? Yes, the bloody wanker was parked in a disabled parking spot! He was still there when I came back a few minutes later so I was about to go and tell him that if any able-bodied member of the public did that he wouldn't be impressed but he pulled away as I got there.

So if you see a grey-haired cop with what looked like a moustache (but could have been the remains of his last doughnut), ask him when the police started recruiting disabled officers. Prick!

Don't post it here - if he pissed you off by parking in the disabled spot then phone Levin Police and let his boss know.

You might not hear anything back from the boss but rest assured the do-nut buyer WILL get a flea in his ear.

You could of course be a bit cheeky and fill in that on line "report bad driving" form thing on the police website. Just giving the rego number and not mentioning it was a plodmobile. And see what they say.

It's not actually a Police matter....you need to report to Council Offices...silly I know.....the Police will not take any action.......

....when they take half an hour to get to you when your house is being invaded or something.

Aaaahh...so that explains things.

,, I mean its not like they can put the plod mobile in the local multistorey carpark and go do their lunch shopping (they do eat too you know).
,,.

They have multi story car parks in Levin nowdays ? (Or, multistory anything for that matter ? )

Must resist temptation to be understanding to cops side....aaarrrgghh...failing......

Fair call speedie. Assuming there were NO other places he could have parked (eg yellow lines, bus stops, footpath etc).

Getting donughts though, man that is funny.

I'd do both. Hang the dirty washing out for all to see here and write to his Boss.

just dont complain when they take half an hour to get to you when your house is being invaded or something.
I wouldn't complain, I'd see that as an improvement in response times...

Considering you live in the Sewth Eyeland, yeah.

Then again, you'd probably get here quicker than the local cops can...

I dont know if there were any other spaces that were in the immediate vicinity, but in their defence, they are required to be near the vehicle at all times in case they need to respond to an incident. I mean its not like they can put the plod mobile in the local multistorey carpark and go do their lunch shopping (they do eat too you know).
I am not condoning parking in a designated disabled spot, but I for one often park the ambo in bus stops, no parking places, if I need to go to a shop, because if a call comes in I am supposed to respond within 30 seconds... a bit hard if I parked in the proper place. I think there needs to be some flexibilty showen sometimes. Or you can make them park in the parking station like everyone else, just dont complain when they take half an hour to get to you when your house is being invaded or something.

I also expect that if a disabled driver had pulled up he would have been straight out there and moved!! I obviously can't guarantee that but I expect they would.

Only my opinion
